About Me
I am a 17 year old male living in Grafton, Nebraska. If you didn't notice the picture of me on the main page, then click the "home" link above. I attend High School at Fillmore Central HS in Geneva, and I will be a Senior next year. Due to the fact that I have met all the requirements for graduation, I am going to be graduating High School early, December 21st, 2001. I will be attending college at either Doane in Crete, or Hastings College in Hastings (both in Nebraska). I am going to be majoring in Elementary Education, and I plan to practice out of state. I am out for Cross Country and I plan to make varsity this year. Our team went to State last year and hopefully we can make it again this year.
As far as music goes, I listen to just about everything. COUNTRY - Lonestar --- ROCK- Three Doors Down, Fuel, Tantric, Papa Roach, Linkin Park --- RAP - Nelly, Methods of Mayham, Ludicrous --- CHRISTIAN- Third Day, POD, Creed. I attended the Three Doors Down, Fuel, and Oleander Concert in Lincoln, Nebraska this past March and I had an awesome time. I hope to attend Rockfest in July.
What am I doing this summer? Well, like I mentioned above, I hope to go to Rockfest in July. On top of that, I am going to be attending a workshop for students interested in the teaching profession, called Teacher's World. This workshop runs from July 8th-14th, so don't expect to see me online during that time period!
Am I single? Well, I was for the past 5 months or so until I met a wonderful girl online by the name of Shanell. After spending a good deal of time getting to know eachother online, we met and are now currently dating. She is the greatest girl I know, and I hope that we are together for a very long time. :-)
What do I do for fun? Well, I love listening to music, of all kinds. You can see the bands that I like above. I currently have over 150 mp3's on my computer, so if you are looking for something, drop me a line and I might be able to hook you up. I am also a major computer freak, not geek. I own two computers, and am currently working on getting my own server up and running. If I had the money, I would network them all together, but eh, oh well. I also enjoy web publishing, as you can tell with my website. I know HTML pretty well, and enough JavaScript to get me into trouble. :-) I also picked up some programming this year and can write fairly well in the Visual Basic language. I even wrote my own program this past year, which took me a great deal of time, around three weeks to complete. It is nothing special by far, but if you are interested in checking it out sometime, drop me a line.
Do I like to write? Do I. Of course I do. I love to write. I write stories, narratives, poetry, movie scripts, you name it. I can write fairly well, and I have had a few poems published, one in the capitol building for National Poetry Month, and one in a National Anthology called "The Silence Within."
